Dear Friends,

As you may be aware, at our nomination meeting last week I was elected your federal Liberal candidate for Kitchener Centre.  It is a privilege and an honour that I take very seriously.  We had an excellent turnout and I was pleased to meet many new members in attendance, along with familiar faces.  Thank you to everyone who attended and voted.

To those of you who could not attend, I would also like to thank you for your encouragement and good wishes.

I wish to take this opportunity to invite all members and supporters to a celebration party and the unofficial launch of our joint campaign to win back Kitchener Centre - please drop by for a cocktail reception on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Concordia Club (429 Ottawa St. S), between 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.  Your attendance would be greatly appreciated!

I wish to sincerely thank Tony Maas for his integrity and for running a very competitive and disciplined campaign.  He brought a lot of energy, enthusiasm and diversity to the party.  Our Liberal brand and campaign is much richer because of Tony's contribution and efforts at promoting our shared values.

Now the real hard work begins and I hope that you will continue to contribute to my campaign.  We are all Liberals and I need all of your help and support to win the next election.  Our values and love for this country are too important to remain idle and distant.  As your candidate, I have been already been to a few events and have started listening to voters' voices and their desire for change.  We must work together to take our riding and our country back and return to the ideals and values which made our nation great.
